What the inspector found

• Food-Contact Surfaces: Cleaned and Sanitized: 4-602.11 (E) - Core: Equipment Food - Contact Surfaces and Utensils-Frequency; Non-TCS. Addl Notes: Observed a buildup of organic matter inside ice machine. All food-contact surfaces must be cleaned to sight and touch,
• Toxic Substances Properly Identified, Stored, and Used; Held for Retail Sale, Properly Stored: PRIORITY VIOLATION-7-201.11 - Priority: Separation-Storage||Addl Notes: Observed stainless steel cleaner spray stored next to coffee and tea bags and above mugs. Chemicals must be stored away from food, utensils, and single service items at all times to prevent contamination. All chemicals were relocated
• Insects, Rodents and Animals not Present: 6-202.15 - Core: Outer Openings, Protected Addl Notes: Observed light gap in back door of the establishment. Outer openings of food establishment shall be protected against the entry of insects and rodents. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
• Food and Non-Food-Contact Surfaces Cleanable, Properly Designed, Constructed and Used: 4-501.12 - Core: Cutting Surfaces Addl Notes: Observed lime cutting board with deep scoring and fuzzy surface. All food-contact surfaces must be smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable. PIC removed from service at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
